Divine Intervention for Your Bike

Divine Bike Church

Want to love on your bicycle, but don’t have the tools or the know-how? Look no further than Neighborhood Bike Works. This committed non-profit has been promoting the beauty of the bicycle here in Philly for ten years. The good work they do is far reaching (focusing mostly on intensive after-school free programs for kids”"mechanics, safety and community service), but they have good stuff for adults too!

Do yourself and your bike a world of good and grace the Divine Bike Church program on Tuesdays, Thursdays or Sundays from 6:30-9:00 (Wednesday is women and transgendered folks-only night). Everything is well-organized, the volunteers are helpful, and the community atmosphere is strong. Lucky for you, volunteers or other attendees will give you a glad hand. If you’re looking to buy a bike on the cheap, you can find something that might suit you for between $40-150, or dig through used parts and get them for very reasonable prices. All proceeds go to NBW for the kids programs. Can I get an Amen?
