No. Libs Gets Craftier by the Minute
Remember when I told you that all the creative young designers were packing up & moving out of Antiquarian’s Delight? Remember I promised to tell you where they’re going? Well, I am a woman true to my word.
Typhaney Bennett of Typhaney B. Jewelry, Suzie Morris (formerly in Tomato), and Rachel Breeden of Ladies Auxiliary Club are opening a designer co-op on November 11 in Northern Liberties. The shop, Conspiracy Showroom, will feature the work of emerging Philadelphia designers, straight from the sewing machine to your shopping bag.
Hopefully, it’ll keep you out of the mall this holiday shopping season. Because after all, isn’t a one-of-a-kind handmade belt of vintage fabric (or some such gift) much more exciting than a generic chain store present?
Can’t wait until November 11th? Conspiracy Showroom has a MySpace page documenting the construction of the new store.
