On Santa’s Naughty List? Come Clean

Duross and Langel

It turns out that cleanliness is really next to godliness: Researchers at the University of Toronto and Northwestern recently discovered a connection between cleanliness and ethical behavior. Test subjects were asked to recall an ethical or unethical act, and then were offered either a pencil or a hand wipe. Around three quarters of those who recalled unethical acts chose hand wipes, compared to only a third of those who recalled ethical acts.

What does it mean? Well, it means that when we think or do something unethical, guilty-worthy or downright dirty, we instinctively want to get physically clean. Good thing, then, that we’ve got Duross and Langel.

Duross and Langel’s selection of aromatic homemade soaps, shampoos and bath bombs will rinse clean even the dirtiest body (and soul). In addition to their in-store selection of around two dozen soaps, D & L carries soaps from local artist Chuck Kalick, and saipua cold process soaps, which are made with an olive oil base. D & L also concocts rich moisturizers, luxurious body and face washes, and refreshing scrubs, and are happy to make up a gift basket for you and your guilty conscience.
