Rae of Light Brightens Cira Centre Even More
Looking for a reason to go inside the Cira Centre, the super-sleek, always colorful skyscraper helping to transform the Philly skyline? Look no further. Rae has arrived, and she opened for dinner starting yesterday. Ultra-modern in design, Rae is exactly what you’d expect a restaurant inside the Cira Centre to look like, and she’s exactly the opposite of her older sister Gayle, a quaint, shoe box-sized eatery on the other side of town.
The creation of Daniel Stern, a man with some serious cooking credentials, including a stint at Philly’s famed Le Bec-Fin, Rae dishes out classics and classics with a twist. For example, the boring”"I mean non-adventurous”"eater can enjoy a Caesar salad and roast chicken (Rae Standards), while the more daring can sample veal kreplach and smoked rabbit (Rae Renditions).
But it’s not just the food that makes Rae worth a visit. There’s also:
“¢ The great views
“¢ An action-packed open kitchen
“¢ Lots of private dining nooks
“¢ Screens that display the Amtrak train schedule (so you’ll never miss your ride)
“¢ Fun events like a social for singles on Valentine’s Day
“¢ The fact that Stern named Rae after his grandma (How could you not want to give it a try?)

Agreed. Well put! What a spectacular restaurant – decor, food, and service. There is nothing like it in Philadelphia!
