A Feast of New Philly Plays

When’s the last time you went out for a night at the theater? A long time ago, you say? You never leave the house, you say? We’ll here’s your chance to fill the void. The Theatre Alliance is putting on the first-ever Philadelphia New Play Festival from February 8-18th. The festival features nine brand spankin’ new plays produced by some of Philly’s best theater companies. (And yes, I spell theater with an ‘er.’ It’s a personal choice.)
If you snag a festival pass you can get discounts at participating theaters and restaurants. Meanwhile, uwishunu will be sending a couple of our theater-loving bloggers to check out the scene and report back.
