Go Ahead, Kiss the Chef
Staying with today’s sushi theme, here a tip from an anonymous reader:
Kisso is the hidden gem of the BYOB’s in Philly. Located on the outskirts of Old City, it’s never packed, very reasonably priced and the perfect place to go with a group of 6 or 8 to eat and start your night out. The place is quiet, so getting rowdy sometimes makes you stand out like a sore thumb, but it’s worth it because the fish is incredibly fresh. Kisso is also one of the most affordable places to go for old-fashioned sake bombing. There’s no cooked food, so don’t take unadventurous eaters, but other than that, there’s no reason not to head over tonight for a handle of sake, a 6-pack and 20 pieces of spicy tuna roll.
