The rise of the A-Sides has been a beautiful thing to behold. I dare you to call me a liar for saying that the first time I rocked to these gentlemen (in a wrecked basement in northwest Philly circa 2002, with a stripped-down lineup and borrowed equipment) I thought, “These dudes will definitely do right, be chased by screaming hordes, and get signed to Vagrant.” They’ll be repping town at Philly Jawn! at SXSW on the 17th.
