Jazz Institution Reopens Its Doors

Under new ownership, Ortlieb’s Jazzhaus reopened last evening after being closed for the past month. This is fantastic news for Philly jazz lovers. They’re closed tonight, but will be open the rest of the week on a silent soft opening basis. The grand opening will be this weekend.
The place looks the same except the kitchen was done over. The best part is that three young guys in their late 20’s and early 30’s have bought place from the former owners. They will keep the name and they will also continue with the jazz/ music scene.
