flyermini.jpgLiberty Lands Park will witness the most punk rock workout session since… since… come to think of it, I’ve never heard of a punk rock workout session. Whenever I go to the gym, the stereo is usually blasting angry, adrenaline fueling hip-hop and/or 80’s hair metal, and all the while, I’m craving something entirely different. Seriously, there’s only so much Whitesnake you can take.

Well on Sunday, May 6th, at 1pm, Brian Adoff plans to cater to those seeking a more punk rock experience in their exercise sessions, offering up a fun and cheap alternative. The cost? Only $5, and you get a dollar off for wearing a pre-1995 punk or hardcore t-shirt. Personally, I’d probably wear a Jawbreaker shirt.

Wear some clothes you won’t mind getting a little dirty (the event is outside), as well as a yoga met and some water.

FunVampires.com is running a contest for the event, asking some punk rock related questions, some of which pertain to the Philadelphia scene. Check them out, try and win!

And check out the larger version of the flyer here.

About the Blogger

Hi! I'm Eric. I'm a Springsteen-loving, Bon-Jovi singing Jersey boy who recently up and left, relocating to the awesome city of Philadelphia. I'm a full time graduate student at Arcadia University and work for GPTMC, causing my coworkers to wonder if I have any kind of life. I don't. I enjoy photography, writing, reading, and playing Halo III. I spend a lot of time fussing over my chinchilla, Mittens. He's adorable, and you'll love him.
