Food! Drinks! Romance! Illadates!
You’re a romantic fun-loving person and you want to show your special someone a good time on the town. But maybe you’re low on funds or just keeping a tight grip on your green. You want to conserve funds and still have a fun date in Philadelphia. What to do?
uwishunu is pleased to present Illadates, a new video podcast featuring the bearded Mark Schoneveld and his lovely fiance Audrey Smith. Each Thursday, Mark and Audrey will take you along on one of their inexpensive Philly dates… ooh la la!
In this week’s episode, Mark and Audrey visit East Passyunk, stopping by Beautiful World Syndicate for some record shopping, Cantina Los Caballitos for drinks, Marra’s Restaurant for pizza and Roselena’s for dessert. There’s even some scooter lust for good measure. Enjoy!

When I visit Philly I want to go to some of those places. It’s nice to know the unknown places to go for the “out of towners” who never find places like that. Cool.

I love it! This is totally my hood! We go to Cantina los Caballitos at least once a week! Their food is awesome too!
And for hanging out with folks in a chill-and-dark bar, the POPE is great! (Pub.On.Passyunk.East) And cafe 1601 is the shiz! Best burgers around if you like ‘em red with some Gorgonzola! And 20th Century Cool is a great find for all sorts of crazy housewares and what-nots too!
East Passyunk Crossing has got tons of little treasures!

That was great! This is the way to see a city. The Cantina and Marra’s are two of my favorite spots in the city. Well Done!

Great Blog! Passyunk ave. is a wonderful place for Drinks and Eating.I have to agree with Rizzah Passyunk does have some fine treasures. After a good meal any destination for eats should have places that stay open at night and are interesting to browse. 20th Century Cool is open late, and is a trip back to the future, if i can steal a title. Has to be the most unique Antique store in Philly. All of the items they carry were made in the last century, but very useable in the future. The designs of the 20th Century are hot!The store’s furnishings and prices are reasonable. This is one of 2 stores I know are open to “walk off a meal” The record a few spots down is the second. Both interesting stores that carry items out of the norm. Well worth the before or after dinner walk.
