The Pawnshop Roses plan to rock The Troc tonight at their CD release party!

When it all started, they were four strangers who were looking to rock out and have some fun in the process. Three years later, this Philly based, folk “” rock quartet Pawnshop Roses have become one of the best live acts on the local scene. They are starting to build a buzz on a national level thanks to winning the award for “Best Live Video” in the YouTube Cingular Underground Contest and turning in a strong performance at the SXSW music festival in Austin, TX

Tonight, The Pawnshop Roses will be taking it to the main stage of the Trocadero (1003 Arch Street) to celebrate the release of their debut CD “Let It Roll”. Tickets are $12 at the door, $10 if purchased in advance. Chris Arter, Bebek, Smiles Project and Jay Maje are also on the bill. Show is 21 + only.

The band was recently signed to Earvolution Records, an indie label designed to feature acts who deserve a wider audience that focuses on artistic freedom, greater artist profit sharing and flexible, artist-friendly contracts.
