This week, The Wilma Theater presents program #2 of DanceBOOM!, a dance festival celebrating their sixth annual installment. With invites extended to dancers and artists near (New York) and far (California), the festival showcases a wide variety of genres. This fest also closes the Wilma’s season and happily welcomes the summer weather with street events and performances by TEN dance companies.

Program number two, entitled “Illusions of Space”, starts tomorrow. Combining multimedia with dance, it will feature NYC’s Bridgman/Packer Dance, a talented duo who will perform “Under The Skin,” a combo of live performance and video, and Philly’s very own Group Motion Dance Company, who will be performing “Rondo.”

Illusions of Space runs til 9th, however the festival continues on to June 17th. Tickets will run you $20 to $25, however you can purchase a dance pass that will grant you $10 off unlimited tickets to ALL programs, along with free admission to the film screenings going on at the festival.
