At 8:30 this morning, bloggers from all around the Philadelphia region poured into the Radison Warick hotel to nibble on a breakfast of bagels, pastries, and coffee, enjoying small talk and (some) meeting each other face to face for the first time. Those people behind those witty little comments were finally getting some face time. Josh Hallett began the unconference by laying down the ground rules, both witty and informative.

Even though I’m sitting in the back right now, I already see some familiar faces. Joey Sweeney of Philebrity is currently moderating a panel, The State of Social Media and Thoughts on the Future, drawing in discussion from the rest of the room. I also see Scott McNulty of The Unofficial Apple Weblog (the most popular Apple weblog on the internet).

The ballroom in the Radison is packed with bloggers, the event drawing in well over 200 people. There are plenty of people taking photos, shooting video, and live blogging from the event (I’m not the only one with a laptop out right now), so I’ll have plenty of content to deliver over the next day and a half.
