Every summer, at the end of a long bike ride, relentless work week or trip to the art museum, there’s the fountain at Logan Square. Bring your lunch to the benches or your bathing suit to the jets – public pools close, but the fountain is always on and there’s always someone in it. It’s not deep enough to swim, but it’s cold enough to beat the July sun and calming enough to beat the Monday deadline blues.
