Watch The Films, Don’t Drink the Water

For a former film student, I have seen a pitiful number of “the classics.” This includes almost all of the Alfred Hitchcock catalog, save for a couple of films that were, well, shown in my freshman-year film class. But thankfully the folks at Schuylkill Banks are here to remedy both my need for Hitchcock and my need for fantastic outside summertime activities. For three more Thursdays this summer, they’re showing classic Hitchcock films projected on the Walnut Street Bridge. The rest of the schedule is as follows:

August 9 – Psycho
August 23 – The Birds

I mean, what’s better than sitting outside and watching a movie a warm summer night? Not much. All the movies start at dusk (around 8:30p.m.), so grab a blanket, hop on your bike, and head down to the Schuylkill.
