I am sad to say that I discovered the amazing Happy Hour at McCormick & Schmick’s while I was visiting another city… Luckily, however, it’s a chain for which we in Philly have a franchise and we are beneficiaries of its incredible Happy Hour. $1.95 burgers, people! Did you hear that? They have all KINDS of things to eat, but I’m talking about the $1.95 burger. Don’t delay.

This chain is mostly fancy pants. They serve steaks and fish and for the most part it’s classy. Except at Happy Hour, when they go for it and offer a full menu of options for less money than what you’d find in your couch (on a good day).

I LOVE a deal. I love burgers. The $1.95 burger is a deal at twice the price, which means you can afford an ice tea or lager. The cocktails, however, will run you about $8, but what you save on burger you may want to make up for on booze. The choice is yours at McCormick & Schmick’s.
