The Small Change film screening series, is putting on a weekend long series of film screenings and events:

On Friday, September 21st animator Brent Green will be presenting a collection of his delicately hand-made work with live narration and a live soundtrack by rockers Sin Ropas. The evening will also feature performances from Ex-Fort Thunder artists Xander Marro and Jo Dery also showing films with live soundtracks. The event, which is also co-presented by the folks at Puppet Uprising, will also feature a puppet performance from Penelope Hillfrau who is visting all the way from Florence, Italy.

On Saturday, September 22nd legendary experimental filmmaker Roger Beebe will be showing a collection of his films at Space 1026. Beebe’s award-winning work has shown in film festivals all over the world and in such weird places as Antartica and the CBS Jumbotron in Times Square. Roger will be projecting work on 16mm, super 8mm, and video.

On Sunday September 23, Roger Beebe will be teaching a workshop at Scribe Video Center in West Philly on hand-manipulating 16mm film. There is limited seating so get in touch with Scribe to reserve a seat ahead of time.
