The A-Sides’ New Record “Silver Storms” Released

“Silver Storms”, the second full-length album from one of Philly’s most heart-wrenching bands, The A-Sides, officially hits the streets today. The long anticipated album, featuring beautiful artwork by Philadelphia artist Alex DaCorte, is the first release since the band signed to Vagrant Records earlier this year.
Following the release the A-Sides will be leaving on a two month US tour supporting acts such as Ted Leo, Pinback, Velvet Teen, and Say Hi. You’ll get one last chance to see them in Philly before they leave.
On Thursday they’ll be playing at the First Unitarian Church with Man Man, The Wrens, and Nymph. The show is a benefit for the members of the Philly/Brooklyn based band Bottom of the Hudson who were a very serious van accident in July, which killed bassist Trevor Butler and seriously injured drummer Greg Lytle. All proceeds from the show will go to help pay medical and funeral expenses. You can make a donation via paypal as well at: both@absolutelykosher.com.
