If you live and/or work in Center City, surely you saw that crazy roving stiletto heel car driving around all week. I don’t know about you, but after I saw it once, I was frequently on the look out for it again and again, armed with my digital camera. Not just because it was hysterical, but because none of my friends back at home would believe me. They needed proof, despite the Google news headlines.
Starting today there is a new vehicle to try and catch driving around town, a tricked-out van that will be cruising the streets of Philadelphia, recording the extraordinary personal stories of everyday folks around the city. GET EXCITED! It’s all part of the First Person Festival of Memoir and Documentary Art, running from November 7th -11th, 2007. Check out this awesome video that shows the making of the Story Tour van:
The best part about this, is that if you catch this van, you can tell your own story to them, thus giving your friends and family the proof that the stiletto heel car denied me.
Every Tuesday and Thursday through October 20, uwishunu will be featuring first-ever looks at some of the stories recorded during the First Person Story Tour. We’re pretty excited to be a part of this project and we hope you’ll stop back to check out the videos.
