The Auriemma Family provide such a remarkable product. My first stop there was by curiosity.

A few years ago, I was an assistant manager of Radio Shack. The matriarch of the Auriemma family, Claudio's mother, needed a cell phone, and of course I helped her pick a decent cell phone. In conversation she told me that her family owns a Meat and Cheese shop in the Italian Market.

A while later, I happened to be in the neighborhoos and stopped on by and got some provolone and pepperoni from Tom, one of the friendly counter workers, and he insisted that I visit Claudio's cheese shop next door.

So, I went in and walked past the glass doors, and was persuaded to try a plain and peppered mozzarella bite with some olive oil. I couldn't resist after trying some. If you are in the area, and you want the best, THE BEST fresh mozzarella, go to Claudios! You will not be dissapointed!

My and my wife used to go to Claudio's every Saturday to pick up our long list of cheese the we required for daily living. But sadly, we moved to Baltimore and can get there as frequent, but when we do... life is more livable.

Great post!
