Relaxing at Jerry’s Bar

Posted By: Chad Brown Photo by: Ted Adams
On a snowy night two years ago we followed the bar light into Jerry’s. Outside the wind was howlin’ and the snow was a snowin’ when the man said, “Hello buddy.” We sat at the row and commenced into a fine time that had the snowflakes jealous and, before long, we had been there for several empties and an invitation to stop by the turnaround. Tales of the White Horse Pike metal years in our ears and warmed up from the healthy whiskey pours, we made it back later for some pierogies and a nightcap.
Since that night, not much has changed on the numerous returned callings except for the jukebox interface–and the company’s always good. Nearly three decades of living have settled into the place, but you’re best dropping in cause there’s no phone. If you hit the wall 95 you’ve gone too far and should, more than likely, have Jerry get you a coffee.
