Identical Strangers: A Memoir of Twins Separated and Reunited

In addition to their Identity exhibit, The Franklin Institute is hosting a book signing and talk by authors Elyse Schein and Paula Bernstein about their book Identical Strangers: A Memoir of Twins Separated and Reunited. Many years later, the twins were reunited and, through research, discovered that their adoptions were part of a psychiatric study organized in conjunction with an adoption agency.

During the talk, the twins will recount stories about their separation and their reunion, as well as various stats and studies regarding the scientific observation of twins.
