Night Lights on South Broad Street: Tonight!

Everyone knows that the holiday season is in full swing because we can’t market Thanksgiving, even though that is my favorite holiday. Even if snow doesn’t fall on Christmas you can rest assured, the streets will be full of holiday colors.
Tonight could be considered a small preview of what is to come. As the sun goes down, the Avenue of the Arts will shine a rainbow of lights on a number of buildings including the Ritz Carlton Hotel at Broad and Chestnut (fun fact – the building was constructed to resemble the Pantheon in Rome). There will be entertainment and food (small fee) provided for the duration of the ceremony. After all, one gets hungry after viewing a light show. Well, I do.
Music acts will take over five stages between City Hall and Pine St. The Dixie Kings, Mummertime, The West Philadelphia Orchestra, and more! Take some photos and send them over to Uwishunu, especially if you catch any of the stilt walkers or magicians.
