Any excuse to go out swing dancing is alright with me. Guys, if you’re one of those “oh, I don’t dance” types, remember, even Christian Bale has been known to get down. Aspire Arts, a new theatre, music, and education outreach organization geared towards helping early professional in the arts, will be launching this month with a swing themed gala in Rittenhouse Square on December 31st.

The event will be held at the Ethical Society Building, from 9PM until 1AM. Catered deserts, a silent auction, dancing, champagne, and performances from Jeanette Berry, Rory Donovan, and the Aspire Orchestra, promise to make this a New Years Eve to remember. Plus, there’s the networking opportunity. Bring your business cards, people!
