The Lantern Theater Presents: The Screwtape Letters

The Lantern Theater Company certainly knows how to put on a show. This season, their performances of The School of Wives and The Lonesome West had some great runs, and with another play set to hit the stage in February, the Lantern has no intention of slowing down.
In between their production of The School for Wives and February’s presentation of Skylight, the Lantern will be hosting The Screwtape Letters, an adaptation of the classic C.S. Lewis novel. Adapted by the star of the play (pictured above), Anthony Lawton plays Screwtape, a mid-level demon in Hell’s bureauracy, who spends his time in a dark corner writing out letters to his young nephew, Wormwood, giving him advice on how to corrupt the human soul.
You’ll be amazed as Lawton transforms this classic novel into a multi-media presentation, not only using his acting talents, but music and dance. The play only runs for a limited two weeks, so get your tickets while you still can!
