First Stormtroopers invaded Rittenhouse Square… now we’ve got lightsaber battles on the steps of the Franklin Institute? What’s going on?!?
This past weekend, The Franklin Institute opened their new exhibit, Star Wars: When Science Meets Imagination. Hundreds of people gathered in front of the museum to watch Pennsylvania’s chapter of the 501st Garrison reenact a scene from Episode III, and then walked inside for an afternoon of sci-fi wonder.
The guys at Crunch have several fun articles up, giving you a look inside Darth Vader’s helmet, some photos of the 501st Stormtrooper Legion, a video of kids building a spaceport, and some fantastic images of the lightsaber battle between Anakin and Obiwan.
Go check it out for yourself! We’ll have some photos up from the event later on.

I would not give any back-talk to a storm trooper. Those dudes look like they mean business.
