Eastern State Penitentiary and Early Beer Dinner with Stoudt’s Brewery
*Sigh* It’s the end of Philly Beer Week, and sadly, the last of our beer week videos. Enjoy this video highlighting beer in Fairmount, and then, be sure to spend your day in jail. … wait, what?
Celebrate the last weekend of Philly Beer Week at Eastern State Penitentiary. Terry McNally, owner of London Grill, and Carol Stoudt will take you over to Eastern State Penn for a winter adventure tour of the historic site. Why? Eastern State was once home to Willie Sutton, the namesake of Stoudt’s and London’s Willie Sutton Beer. Back at London Grill, you’ll enjoy a three-course dinner with Stoudt’s beers. Mmm!
You can learn more about Eastern State Penitentiary at gophila.com. There is also an episode of our very own Illadates featuring the prison.
