Phantom Orchard is the improvisational team of Zeena Parkins and Ikue Mori. Parkins is a multi-instrumentalist (and harp pro) and composer, Mori is drummer and founding member of the No Wave group DNA. Together, they make Phantom Orchard, and they’ll be performing at the historic Bartram’s Garden on Thursday, March 6.

Plus, there will be a special performance by The Baird Sisters, a duo focused on Southern Appalachian music. Meg Baird is a member of the local experimental folk group Espers and her sister Laura is a well-accomplished banjoist.

Ars Nova Workshop, who have brought countless experimental and avant garde musical experiences to our area, are presenting this great show.
