R.E.Load Bags: 10th Birthday Celebration

There aren’t many people that haven’t heard of these courier bag experts. R.E.Load bags are works of art and owners would rather part with a pinkie finger than part with their hand-crafted masterpiece.
R.E.Load nurtures and thrives from a community of small businesses that support each other and they have been doing it for 10 years. To celebrate, R.E.Load is throwing a birthday party with fairies, freak outs, costumed cocktail waitresses and limited-edition 10 year anniversary bags.
The party is on First Friday, March 7th. Rock Tits (Tritone, Making Time), Immediate (Immediate vs. Turnaround) and Strawberry Mansion (Turbostation, Sal’s) will DJ the party. There’s going to be a photo booth with different back-drops where a photographer will be taking pictures of attendees and their R.E.Load bags. At the end of the night, there will be a raffle and the prize is going to be one of R.E.Load’s limited edition, 10 year anniversary bags.
The R.E. Load 10 year anniversary party is taking place at the Mad Decent Mausoleum, located at 531 N. 12th St. from 9pm-2am.
I sat down with Carrie Collins, who owns her own company, Fabric Horse, and who also works for R.E.Load, to delve into the inner-workings of this home town hero. Check back for that interview soon!

oh… i’ve wanted a r.e.load bad for sooo long. I’ve “built” it several times on their website, but never actually gone ahead and ordered it… I am making a promise to myself that when i get my tax refund I’m marching on over to r.e.load and ordering my super hot bag.
