Music Video Workshop at One Liberty Place
Musicians, producers, promoters, vocalists and their managers are constantly seeking new methods to get their music heard. They seek that once in a life time opportunity to get answers from established artists and/or major music executives. An opportunity arrives at least four times a year in the heart of Center City at One Liberty Place. Professor Lloyd Remick and Christopher Cabott are entertainment attorneys who have founded the Zane Management Workshop series which guarantees an up close and personal learning experience with entertainment industry executives. The firm currently represents an international roster of celebrities in music, sports, television and the performing arts.
Workshop topics in the past have covered practically every aspect of the music arena for a fraction of the cost of an hourly consultation with lawyers of this caliber. Also, because each workshop is limited to 20 participants, the guest executives and the attorneys can devote quality time to teaching attendees the legal aspects of the entertainment industry, networking and actually reviewing and critiquing the music of each registrant. The firm provides a workbook filled with excellent resource material that is tailored to the topic of each workshop. Participants are encouraged to bring extra demo CDs for consideration by A& R representatives. It is rare to find experienced and knowledgeable people like these attorneys willing to reach out and give back to those following a dream. Whether you are an established artist or aspiring to record your first demo project, you will walk away with new knowledge and tools to equip you in the world of music.
The next workshop, the Music Video Workshop with MTV Video Acquisitions Coordinator Seraphin Hedges, is April 26th, 2008. Space is limited to 20 participants. For more information about the attorneys or to register for a future workshop, visit them at www.zanemanagement.com

Hey! I took the workshop. It is usually around $250. It is worth ten times that much. They really listen to your music right there on the spot. You can hand the A&R people your CD personally. You also get to meet with people in the biz that live right here in Philadelphia. The feedback they gave me will also help with my next tracks. I will try to make every one that they give.

My producer did not believe the hype when we first heard of this series last year. After attending let me tell you it is all true. They deliver what they promise and more. I am torn between keeping the gold all to myself and telling the world.
