Formed in 2006 when vocalists Chrissy Tashjian and Josh Craft decided to give up electronic post rock for folk, the band has slowly been gaining a following, booking shows at the World Café Live, North Star Bar, First Unitarian Church and more. Everywhere they play, their vibe is electric, and with each performance, the crowd is buzzing.

The band’s summery sweet tunes attract fans of all types (“Kids and moms really like our music,” Tashjian tells CityPaper), but there’s also more to the Bee Team than meets the eye. Lyrics cover everything from broken hearts to the nitty gritty of love-making, with cheerful banjo accompanying some of the more risqué lines.
