XPN Free at Noon Concert Series: British Sea Power
This popular Friday series continues on May 9th with a special performance by the band British Sea Power. All you need to do is RSVP and tell your boss you’re taking a long lunch!

Philadanco
Kick off your weekend with a performance from one of Philadelphia’s most popular dance groups, Philadanco. The group will be performing both new and old pieces. It’s sure to be fun for the whole family!

Dad Vail Regatta
Now that the weather’s warming up nicely, it’s time to get down to historical Boathouse Row for the Dad Vail Regatta–the largest collegiate regatta in the US! Feel the breeze coming off the Schuylkill while you watch the rowers make their way down the banks.

Battle Star Galactica Party
For all you sci-fi buffs out there, The Hacktory and Philly’s own Geekadelphia is hosting this interstellar Battlestar Galactica party. No Cylons allowed!

Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure Philly!
This Mother’s Day, put on your running shoes to race for a cure for breast cancer. This is the 18th Annual Susan G. Komen Philadelphia Race for the Cure and all proceeds go to breast cancer research. Opening ceremonies begin at 7am, the 5K run begins at 8:15am and the 5K Walk/1 mile Fun Walk begin at 8:25am. Be sure to register by May 9! 7am, Eakins Oval/Philadelphia Museum of Art, Register HERE
