Ah, Paine’s Park. We’ve been following this project for quite some time now, and to say things are starting to go their way… well, that would be one severe understatement. They’ve received grants from the city, had t-shirts sold in Urban Outfitters, and have an absolutely beautiful, innovative website helping them in their efforts to support their movement. And now, they’ve got one hell of a summer bash coming up.

This weekend, make sure you attend Paine’s World. It’s sure to be the party of the summer, and proceeds will go towards their 2.5 acre, world class, multi-use skatepark and pedestrian plaza. The bash will take place from 9PM to 1AM at the Urban Outfitter’s Corporate headquarters at the Naval Ship Yard in Philly, complete with an art show featuring works from Shepard Fairy, Adam Wallacavage, and Andrew Wright.

There will be an open bar (yes!) with food and drink from plenty of local Philly favorites and a 30′ x 30′ skateramp. We don’t recommend checking out the open bar and ramp in that order, however.

Tickets will only run you $22 online at the Paine’s Park Project’s official ticket site, or if you hit up Urban Outfitters in Center City and UCity, you can get them for $20. If you’re one of the first 50 people to show up, you’ll get a free party bag from Urban Outfitters.
