Delta Phi Disco
Presented by Sweet Jane Records, almost all my favorite deejays are throwing a huge disco bash at the Pilam House in University City. Beginning at 10pm and going as long as the law will allow, deejays Lovefingers, Ron Morelli, Ari G, Speculator, Josh Dunn and Mike Tee will spin you into oblivion. Hot Shop Hoedown & Furnace Fundraiser at East Falls Glassworks
Ever wonder how lumps of glass can be turned into beautiful art? Now’s your chance to learn how your mom’s favorite Murano vase was born. The instructors at East Falls Glassworks are having an open house studio demonstration for your inquiring minds and glass questions. Head to the Perelman Building of the PMA for an exciting tour of the Alexander Calder jewelry exhibit and the opportunity to make your own one-of-a-kind piece of art at the Make and Take Workshop.
Philadelphia’s favorite mobilist’s work gets new life through an interactive show featuring puppets, makes and mimes courtesy of Calder Re_Wired. This event is not only kid-friendly, it’s also accessible!
