Constitution Day: Celebrate the Anniversary of the Signing @ The Constitution Center

On September 17th, 1787, 39 men from the Constitutional Convention agreed to ratify our United States Constitution which contained the Bills of Rights… the First 10 Amendments that protected our freedom of speech, our freedom of religion, and gave us the right to a trial by jury.
As important as these ideals are, we tend to forget these freedoms did not come easy. So as we mark the 221st anniversary of the signing of the Constitution, head over to the National Constitution Center where dozens of foreign-born people will take the oath of citizenship and officially become citizens of the United States. You can shake hands with former presidents and, of course, sign the Constitution.
And with the election a mere 7 weeks away, be sure to check out the Center’s new exhibit, “Headed to the White House” “” a multimedia and interactive look at the election and inauguration of our presidents.
