Vote Ninja: The Deadliest Improv Group at the Philly Fringe

Post by Jonathan Wetstein
You may have heard of Chicago-Style comedy acts before and wondered what this means. It is an approach to live comedy that allows the audience to steer the format of the performance. The Ninjas are a comedy group proud to bring such a performance to the Lisa M. Reisman Gallery beginning Thursday September 4th, at 9:00pm through to the 14th. This is one of my personal favorite types of comedy because every show is unique and its format hinges on an engaging audience.
Although these guys may call themselves the most deadliest improv groups in Philadelphia, you should not feel to intimated to try out one of their many classes in comedy. That’s right they offer classes in the art of improvisation and comedy for up to eight students per night class!
The skill of comedic preparedness in an improv environment requires years of perfecting, similar to the ever-vigil lifestyle of the legendary ninja. Tickets for this hour-long performance are just ten bucks at 1714 Rittenhouse Square, and include eleven shows from 9/4-9/13. Because of its improvised format, you can be certain that you and your party will leave with a smile.
