Okay seriously, who willingly walks through an old abandoned warehouse in the middle of the night? And with bloodsucking zombies, rotting corpses and vampires in the mix. Really… who DOES that? Would you?

Well, it is Halloween season, so I’m guessing the answer is yes.

“Voted the scariest haunted attraction in Philadelphia” by Fox 29, the Fright Factory in South Philadelphia definitely delivers. It’s not very often that I use my cell phone as flashlight, but walking through a maze of total darkness with creatures lurking within every corner certainly required it.

Three terrifying attractions (Horror High, The Asylum, and Village of the Damned) await you as you stumble, run or crawl through this house of horrors. With every turn of the corner, be sure to keep a look out for your friends… because they may vanish in the darkness.

Scare yourself silly at the Fright Factory this weekend… but don’t come alone; you’ll need someone for them to take!!!

About the Blogger

I was born in Philly but was made in China (it's tattooed on my right shoulder)! My parents thought I was quite the sovernior and appropriately raised me in Philly's chinatown. I'm first generation and proud of my culture and my city. Serving as a concierge at the Independence Visitor Center, I happily spend all day talking about Philadelphia to tourists and locals alike. It's an honor to be the host/tour guide of Chinatown for GPTMC's vodcasts. When I'm not pretending to be Mr. Philadelphia, I put on my ipod and cruise the town on my bicycle. People watching rules and so does Sugar Moms in Old City. I kill at skeeball! Living at the Italian Market is so great because it helps to fulfill my favorite pastime, eating!
