The video above tells you all you need to know about how Phillies fans felt when their team won the World Series last night. The scene starts with the final pitch at Vesuvio at 8th & Fitzwater, marches down South Street and ends up at celebration ground zero: Broad Street. If you weren’t there, you gotta see this!

Thanks to Don Kahler for the amazing images.

I guess it all depends where you were at. I’ve heard many reports from folks who said the celebrations were mostly quite civil.

I got home from a work trip from SF in time to see the VERY LAST PITCH!! Gotta say- that night (minus some of the later mischief) along with the awesome day that was the parade were two of the best days in the 15 years that I have called Philly home. The team did the city proud, and the city responded in kind. It was great to see and experience it!!
