Ah, the Abington Art Center. Todd was all kinds of excited when their art gallery, Global Suburbia, opened up back in September. This month, they’ve got even more going on.

On Sunday, October 19th, hop the SEPTA and head on in to Jenkintown for the Abington Art Center’s third annual EcoArtFest. From 1PM to 5PM, you’ll be able to go on guided tours of Sculpture Park and participate in an array of free workshops and activities, all aimed at helping you lead a more Green friendly lifestyle. Other activities include guided bird watching, bicycle safety checks, energy conservation lectures, and more!

Planning to stay for dinner? The White Dog Cafe will be hosting a Harvest Supper at the center, full of locally grown sustainable food. The dinner will run you $50, and it’s BYOB.
