For those of you who are somewhat web savvy and utilize Twitter, you might have witnessed a bit of heat brewing up between Philadelphia’s tourism Twitter and the state of Arizona’s account.

Sunday, the Philadelphia Eagles play the Arizona Cardinals, and winner goes on to the Super Bowl in February. Both teams pulled off some serious plays this past weekend, and the Eagles are playing the best that they have all year. Their defense has been amazing!

If the Eagles win, Arizona’s tourism Twitter will sport an Eagles logo for a week, and if the Cardinals win, vice versa. The person who runs the Philadelphia Tourism twitter also might cry and sob quietly into their hands, though no photo evidence will be provided.

Let’s go Eagles!

About the Blogger

Hi! I'm Eric. I'm a Springsteen-loving, Bon-Jovi singing Jersey boy who recently up and left, relocating to the awesome city of Philadelphia. I teach literature and writing courses at Montgomery County College and Holy Family University, and also work for GPTMC, causing my coworkers to wonder if I have any kind of life. I don't. I enjoy photography, writing, reading, and playing Halo III. I spend a lot of time fussing over my chinchilla, Mittens. He's adorable, and you'll love him.
