Art Auction and Raffle @ The South Philly Tap Room
As if you needed more reason to support local art, there will be beer.
The venerable South Philly Tap Room in Point Breeze is hosting its third annual art auction and raffle on March 3rd to benefit the Mew Gallery in Bella Vista. All the proceeds from the party and suggested $5 donation go to the Mew, which often hosts exhibitions from local artists and artisans and sells their work.
The Tap Room will offer beer specials, including $2 Kensingers, and the event includes a silent auction, a raffle, a DJ, dancing, and, you know, happy, merry times.
The raffles give you a chance to win photography, painting, jewelry, clothes and a great deal more, most from local artists.
