The Fashion of Design @ Bus Stop Boutique

Queen Village’s BUS STOP Boutique is hosting a photography show featuring the works of globe-trotting Philly artist Brian Aufdenberg. Aufdenberg is a manager for Philadelphia’s Sailor Jerry clothing label, and he spent the last two years traveling through North America and Europe promoting the brand (pretty sweet gig, no?).
He documented his travels with his camera, seeking out inspiration in everyday life. More than just a photographer, Aufdenberg is also a painter and writer, and his quest was to explore how little bits of everything we see are the starting points for all creation and design.
The exhibition runs through mid-May, but come check it out for the opening reception on March 27th which, like all good openings, will be complete with drinks and nibbles. And don’t forget that Bus Stop is a shoe boutique, after all: they’ll be unveiling their new spring collection of shoes & sandals from Lovely People, Kork Ease, Irregular Choice, Fly London Farylrobin, Dionella and more, with 15% off any new spring purchase for one night only!
