Passover Favorites @ Zahav
In France we have Proust’s Madeleine: the little soft cookie that brings back the author’s childhood memories when he bites in it. This is the feeling Executive Chef Michael Solomonov wants to recreate for his guests, with his traditional Passover menu at Zahav.
From April 8th to 15th, a $42 per person prix-fixe menu will transport you to Passovers from your past with the most traditional fares: Hand-made Matzah, Yemeni-Style Matzoh Ball Soup, Hot-Smoked Sable, Coffee-Braised Brisket and more, all prepared in Chef Solomonov’s fresh, modern style.
And if Passover is not a holiday you’re generally celebrating, what a great way to discover a new tradition and to open up to a different culture!
