I found out about this event on the Mewsletter. Cute name for a newsletter, right? I thought so too.
If you want to figure out the intracies of some of the most popular painting styles, we’ve got an event for you. On Tuesday, May 5th, artist Rose Drew is hosting an Introduction to Gouache/Watercolor Painting workshop at the Mew Gallery. Get familiar with handling these paints and creating your own works of art.
The Mew Gallery at 906 Christian Street is also hosting a Greeting Card Painting Workshop on Tuesday, May 19th. The $25 cost includes materials, light refreshments, a 10 percent discount on the gallery’s boutique items and tutleage from Rose Drew. Go home with your own greeting cards!
