Seafood Stimulus @ SoleFood Restaurant

Finally someone is stimulating the economy with seafood.

The SoleFood Restaurant at the Loews Hotel is offering up a $40 three-course priced dinner menu for two… and that includes a $10 gift card for a return visit! And to top it off, they use fare from local farms, so you can save money and feel good about yourself.

The current stimulus menu showcases late spring ingredients. The first course includes one of three options: yellowfin tuna tartar with cucumber, tobiko caviar, and wonton crisp; roasted Jersey tomato soup with lemon cream and Blue Moon Farms basil; or chopped Caesar salad, focaccia croûtons.

The entrée selection includes either: slow roasted ocean trout with chive cucumber relish, basil puree and shallot crust; crispy barramundi filet with chorizo, new potatoes, spinach and Blue Moon Farm beets; Lancaster chicken breast, Kennett Square white trumpet mushrooms, fava beans, pancetta in lemon thyme jus or grilled hanger steak, watercress salad, and Birchville Farms bleu cheese, pine nuts, truffle Parmesan potatoes.

You’ve got several choices for dessert, including a Philly cream cheese cheesecake with pretzel crust and Yuengling caramel sauce; pistachio bon-bon, caramelized cherry upside-down cake and honey sage glaze; or vol-au-vent filled with South Jersey blueberry cardamom compote and Myers lemon infused mascarpone cream.

The SoleFood Stimulus offer is valid seven day a week for dinner, 5:30 – 10 p.m. The price is exclusive of tax, gratuity and beverages. For reservations please call (215) 231-7300 or visit on-line at www.loewshotels.com.
