An Evening By The Sea: Seafood Unlimited’s All Night Happy Hour

Seafood Cobb Salad with Crabmeat, Shrimp, and Scallops
Ah, summer. While the warm weather beckons you and your friends to take a trip down the shore, at Seafood Unlimited, you can still enjoy the products of the sea right on your plate and stay in Rittenhouse Square.
Arrive early if you want to try the new all-night Happy Hour, which is only served at the bar and on the terrace, from 5:00 pm on. Putting in a little extra effort to show up early is totally worth it, believe me. The drink menu covers the basics, your white & red wines, your beers and a house margarita so delicious, that my friends had two.
And then came the nibbles… light and fluffy popcorn shrimp and calamari, deliciously spicy fried and buffalo seasoned (as well as peel and eat) shrimp, traditional garlic & herb steamed mussels or their less traditional marinara version (which received my vote as “best dish on the table”), and a fresh and tasty salad with spring mix, pink grapefruit and feta cheese; the perfect combination with all that seafood.
Because the girls are curious, we had to order an item out of the main entrees specials: a lightly breaded piece of Halibut, soft and juicy, and served with a curry sauce and bok choy. Whether its with a bunch of friends over Happy Hour or on a dinner date in the main dining room, Seafood Unlimited has a lot to offer: friendliness, charm and fresh, succulent food.
