George Washington: Running Around Philly & Giving Out Money Tomorrow?
That’s right, you can win money from this guy.
For those of you who are unaware, tomorrow is the anniversary of the day George Washington came into Philadelphia, giving out mad bling to locals who yelled at him from afar. Compliments on his powdered hair and sweet ivory teeth, were rewarded with golden coins and… alright, let me stop.
I just got a tip that tomorrow, George Washington will be in town for the day, dishing out prizes to tourists and residents alike through out the city. Stops include the Liberty Bell at 10am and the Philadelphia Museum of Art at 11:30am.
The first three people at each spot to tell the president “I want to visit Fairfax this summer!” will win $100 cash. The tourism folks down in Fairfax will be posting about their Philadelphia experience on their blog, so hey, let’s be nice.

Alas, the SunGard boys….James, Sean and Tom did not win the $100.00 from George. To my new friend in the Drexel hoody, good luck to you, maybe you will fair better at the Art Museum. And to Miss Bee, isn’t Faifax the “Fun side of the Potomac” or maybe that’s Old Town Alexandria.
