Bust a Move @ the 2009 Illadelph Legends Festival
It’s cool to be old school this summer! Looking to check out some pioneers of hip-hop? Then the University of the Arts is the place to be this month. From the 20th to the 26th, the school plays host to Rennie Harris Puremovement’s 2009 Illadelph Legends Festival. Grab your boom box, vintage tracksuit and Pumas and join other hip-hop connoisseurs for this weeklong festival of classic urban dance and music.
B Boys and B Girls will love the chance to take master classes, participate in lecture demonstrations, open jam sessions, panel discussions and break out sessions in one of the longest running hip hop festivals in the country. You’ll find all the hip-hop dance styles representin’, including: Boogaloo, Locking, Popping, House and Afro/Funk.
The beats will be dropping from 9 A.M. to 5 P.M. every day of the festival. To register click here,
