Dining Days is just a week away now. And we’re bringing you another spotlight.

This one is on Pod, Stephen Starr’s contemporary Pan Asian restaurant that has been one of University City’s most popular restaurants since it opened in 2000.

The design of the restaurant has brought a lot of attention: the retro-modern décor is inspired by Woody Allen’s Sleeper and features conveyor belt sushi, brightly colored cocktails and glowing pods for reserve-ahead groups.

The food at Pod is pretty great as well.

Bonus: the popular shrimp pad thai is on the restaurant’s Dining Days menu.
