Leave it to those crazy kittens over at Shmitten Kitten to think up an event this clever.

All through the Fall, Anna and her crew will be hosting Mix Tape Speed Dating. Partnering with Popped!, these parties will visit some of their favorite bars and restaurants around Philadelphia.

Each night will feature certain 90′s music genres, and when you pre-register, you can request songs you’d like to hear in said genre. If you register ahead of time, the speed dating event will only run you $5, and that includes the price of your first drink. Here’s what the schedule looks like.

September 10th – Khyber
Soundtrack: ’90s Alternative

September 24th – Dos Segundos
Soundtrack: ’90s Emo/Pop Punk

October 8th – The Cantina
Soundtrack: ’90s Indie

October 22nd – Royal Tavern
Soundtrack: ’90s Grunge
